Sean Bruich (pronounced “brew-ICK”) has long been drawn to the ways people, technology, and culture shape one another. His interests span cognitive neuroscience, science and writing, film and storytelling, and modern architecture and design; all united by a curiosity about how people make sense of the world, how technology shapes experience, and how complex ideas are made meaningful to broader audiences.
Before entering the corporate world, Sean spent three seasons as the primary radio play-by-play broadcaster for the Stanford Baseball team, including live broadcasts from the College World Series in Omaha. He also wrote for the journal Science as a reporting intern, covering research advances, breaking scientific developments, and science policy. Both reflect a longstanding interest in making ideas vivid, understandable, and engaging for others.
He devotes time to supporting LGBT+ voices and stories in film, including as an executive producer, and has a longstanding commitment to queer artistic expression and cultural history.
Sean is especially drawn to modern architecture, interiors, and designed objects, along with the history of modern design movements and the ways innovation, engineering, and craftsmanship find expression in the spaces and objects of everyday life.
Sean is a serious weight trainer and an avid runner. He is also an ordained minister through American Marriage Ministries and enjoys officiating weddings.
Sean resides in Southern California.
